About Serengeti Balloon Safaris

Serengeti Balloon safaris pioneered ballooning in Tanzania and commenced flying in the Serengeti National Park in 1989. Our main base was established near Seronera in the centre of the park. We now operate in Central Serengeti, Western Corridor of Serengeti, seasonally in Serengeti South and also in neighbouring Grumeti Reserves. Our operation is licensed by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority. All pilots hold commercial balloon pilot licenses issued by TCAA and at least one other country.
